Why Today — The Astral Conjunction
We don't follow the market calendar. We follow the rhythm of the Cosmos.
On April 8, 2020, under the largest Supermoon of the year, one of the first works of Sa Peddi Sarda™ was selected. That night, the moon was in the constellation Virgo, near Spica—Alpha Virginis, the brightest star in Virgo, known and observed by the Nuragic people thousands of years ago, when hides were one of the island's most precious commodities.
For six years we waited.
Between April 28 and May 1, 2026, the sky repeated the same configuration. The moon again in Virgo. Again near Spica. The same astral signature. The same sky.
Only now could Sa Peddi Sarda™ be revealed to the world.
The Work and Its Treasure Chest
Each piece is unique. Each treasure chest holds a world.
Sa Peddi Sarda™ doesn't produce objects. It creates works.
Each piece is born from a rigorous selection process—about twenty skins a year, chosen from tens of thousands. Each skin carries with it the story of the animal, the wild landscape of Sardinia, the astral date of its selection. Each piece has a name, a number, a sky.
The box is not a container: it is an inseparable part of the work itself. Handcrafted from natural wood, it is engraved with the Sa Peddi Sarda™ brand and the symbol of the nuraghe—a sign of a civilization that already knew, three thousand years ago, that Sardinian lambskin was the most precious thing on the island.
"The work travels and rests wrapped in its Protective Bag — traditional Sardinian fabric, hand-embroidered with the Sa Peddi Sarda™ and EDEM/PEL™ brand."
The leather: fire-embossed EDEM/PEL™ stamp, Curator's handwritten signature, leather tag with personal QR code, Void hologram.
The case: natural wood, fire-engraved brand, brass clasps.
The author's mark: each imprint is unique, like the skin that bears it.
The complete contents of the treasure chest—sequential number, title of the work, and digital certification QR code—are reserved exclusively for its Keeper.
No two caskets are alike. They never will be.
THE RITUAL
There is a moment that belongs only to the Keeper.
When the casket is opened for the first time, it is not an ordinary gesture. It is a threshold. On the other side lies three thousand years of Sardinian history, the celestial vault of a specific night, the fiber of an animal raised free on the island's pastures.
To accompany this moment, each work is kept with the Ritual of Origin—a confidential document, handwritten and signed, that guides the Keeper in their first encounter with the skin: how to lift it, how to observe it, how to feel it in their hands for the first time.
It is not a manual. It is a sacred act.
The Ritual of Origin is not shown. It is not anticipated. It belongs to those who have chosen to become Keepers.
The inside: the wrapped and protected skin, the sealed certificate parchments, the Keeper's Ritual kit, the necessary gloves. The Ritual is in the undercover of the Chest, the identification number of the Work, the Title of the Work and an identifying QR code with all the documents and certificates.
. .
The casket opens. Light meets silence.
The interior holds everything that belongs to the Guardian — and to no one else.
The certificate scrolls, sealed with wax — documents of origin, authenticity and traceability reserved for the Guardian of the Work.
In the world there exists a precise number of Sa Peddi Sarda™ works — few, as befits the nature of what is truly unique. Not everyone is called to become their Guardian. Only those who understand the value of what they hold in their hands.
If that is you, write to us.
